Hey everybody!
Today was DAY 2 of our week here in Dallas. It really was the first day all the filmmakers got to know each other because the team worked in shifts yesterday at our casting call. I see good things with this group because right away, they seemed to mesh really well together. With no exaggeration I believe every single one of the filmmakers voiced at least one of their opinions. We also have a debater group in our hands as well. They were all respectful to their peers opinions whether they agreed or disagreed but most importantly as a whole came to a compromise to whatever they were arguing over.

Howdy Y'all. It's Meg, the producer, and I just wrapped up the third day with the wicked awesome Dallas Crew. The crew was amazing with finding craft services. At first, we were a little bummed that we were not getting any positive feedback. And then there was RJ... He was working the phone with so much passion, determined to get us food for the shoot on Thursday.

So, like, I was totally ready to leave the house at 11:15. I knew it would take thirty minutes to get out there, and I figured if I told my family I had to go at 11:15, then they'd be ready at 11:30 and I'd be set as far as schedules go. But, as the gods would have it, we were just a bit late. But hey, that's okay, because so was everyone else. By the time I showed up there were about 5 or so Fresh Filmmakers (or is that Fresh makers? Is that a trademark? Is it illegal to use that? Could I be sued?) Sort of mulling around the lobby and the audition room. So I sort of straighten my bandanna and walked into the most hectic environment ever conceived.

Hey guys, this is Nicole! I'm going to be the Doc Master for the Atlanta film. Yesterday was pretty intense, but a fun day. We started the day meeting all 12 filmmakers from all around the south. After a quick read through and break down of the script, we divided into three groups to work on storyboarding, tech training, and working with Nick our Producer on the film. Callbacks for the actors were at 3. Things went smoothly and we now have many great actors to choose from to make our final decision for the film. I'm looking forward the next couple days and excited to see where this talented group of filmmakers is going to take us!

FRIDAY! No way! The week is almost done and I’m having a great time with the ATLANTA 07 CREW! After the spectacular shoot day we had yesterday, today was a blast! We started the day by logging out 3 tapes of footage! Alongside a group of filmmakers in motion, putting together the opening sequence for the film. Another hard working group was exploring the sound effects to put on the movie, and knowing those kids, I think they’ll choose a great variety to add to the movie.

Hey all! Sarah here, Director for our Action/thriller "The Ballad of Susannah Black." Today was our first day in Kansas City, MO the "City of Fountains." We met Heather Laird the local and only casting director around. She was really nice to the interns and the filmmakers during the casting session. We saw about 70 different actors from the area come to read for our parts of Susannah, the husband, the Raider, and the Prop kids. This film is going to be interesting since it involves a lot of theatre within it. So it was an audition for a film although we wanted them to bring a lot of theatrical elements to it as well. It ended up being an eclectic mix of folks from the acting pool around here.

Ciao! It's Meg. My Kansas City crew is ready to take the gold for Action/Thriller! My crew made my job as tech director so easy because they learned the equipment so quickly. These teens are pros! I can't wait for the shoot tomorrow when we put all of our ideas into action. Good luck to the other teams because you'll need it. My team is prepared to win!
