As a teen filmmaker with Samsung Mobile Fresh Films, you'll have an opportunity to plan, cast, direct and edit a real short film. Every team member gets an opportunity to work every position, fromsound to location scouting. Your script will be an original screenplay by an emerging screemwriter this year, in one of three categories - Action Hero, Uncommon Comedy or Drama/Thriller. Your production studio...features the latest Samsung Mobile technology and top-of-the-line filmmaking equipment!

The "Seven Intense Days" Work Schedule: 9am - 4pm

SUNDAY: Open Casting Call. Look who's popular now...Hundreds of actors audition for a role in your film.

MONDAY - WEDNESDAY: Pre-Production. Get your game face on and dive in! You're dealing with casting callbacks, storyboards, location scouting, rehearsals and tech training. Samsung is equipping each team with camera/video phones, internet enabled phones and much more. It's like a production office in the palm of your hand.

THURSDAY: Shoot Day. Starts at 7am and runs later than 4pm. Become a well-oiled filmmakingmachine, rotating through all the set positions, including camera, sound, continuity and Assistant Director.

FRIDAY - SATURDAY: Post Production. Work with your team to edit your film, using Apple's MacBook Pro laptops and Final Cut Studio Software.

Each day will start at 9am and end at or around 4pm. Shoot Day (Thursday) will run longer, and start at 7am. You will be responsible for getting to and from the headquarters, where the whole crew will meet and stay for the day (except for Thursday, when you will just be meeting there, and Sunday, when you will meet and stay at the casting call).

Headquarters will be determined shortly, but will be a centralized location in your crew's home city. Shoot locations for Thursdays will be determined by YOU!
